Most retail rug pads are pre-cut to standard rug sizes, which means they're either too big (they show under the rug) or too small (they leave the edges unsupported). We measure your rug exactly and cut the pad to size, leaving roughly a half-inch margin so the pad sits cleanly under the rug without showing.

Heavier, denser wool felt for entryways, hallways, and dining areas where the rug sees serious foot traffic. Provides additional cushion that extends rug life by years. Hardwood-safe.

No — our hardwood-safe pads use natural rubber and pure wool felt with no solvents, no PVC, and no adhesive backing. Cheap rug pads often contain plasticizers that off-gas onto polyurethane floor finishes and leave permanent marks; ours do not.
What size rug pad do I need?
We measure your rug and cut the pad to size, leaving a clean half-inch margin all around. You don't need to know the exact dimensions — we measure once we have your rug or you give us the rough size.
Do you make pads for irregular shapes?
Yes. Round, oval, octagonal, runner, and irregular hand-knotted rugs that aren't perfectly rectangular are all standard for us. We cut to match the rug shape.
How much do rug pads cost in Memphis?
