Certified appraisals across Dallas.
Few places concentrate fine rugs like the Park Cities and Preston Hollow, where hand-knotted Persians and Caucasians are often insured for five and six figures — and Dallas collections extend well into Bluffview, Lakewood, and the newer estates of Frisco and McKinney. We provide written, certified appraisals for insurance scheduling, estate settlement, and resale, documented to the standard carriers and courts require.
Insurance agents and estate attorneys across Dallas, Collin, and Denton counties recommend us for appraisals that hold up. We coordinate appraisals throughout the metro, from Highland Park and University Park to Plano, Allen, and Richardson. Call (972) 532-8940 to schedule.

Common questions about appraisal.
Will my Dallas insurance carrier accept your appraisal?
Yes. Our appraisals are USPAP-compliant and routinely accepted by every major fine-art and high-net-worth insurance carrier (Chubb, AIG, PURE, Travelers, Hartford, USAA) for scheduling rug and fine-art riders. We have provided documentation to many DFW-area insurance agents.
How much does a high-value rug appraisal cost?
Most appraisals fall between $150 and $500 per rug. Very valuable pieces (six-figure value or higher) are quoted individually because additional research and comparable-sale documentation is required. Pricing is always provided up front before any work begins.
Can you appraise rugs for estate or divorce in Texas?
Yes — these are common requests in DFW. Our written reports are accepted by Texas probate courts, family-law attorneys, and the IRS for charitable-donation documentation. Reports are prepared to be defensible if challenged in litigation.
How quickly can you complete a Dallas appraisal?
Most appraisals are completed within two to three weeks of pick-up. Rush service is available for time-sensitive needs — closing dates, estate deadlines, or court schedules — and is quoted individually.
Do I need an appraisal if I have a recent receipt?
Receipts document purchase price, not current value. Most insurance carriers, estate attorneys, and the IRS require a current USPAP-compliant appraisal — values can change significantly with market conditions, condition changes, and dating refinement. A receipt is not a substitute for a documented appraisal.
